Onion Soup

Onion Soup

Onion Soup in Brussels, Belgium.

To escape the snow for the afternoon we found ourselves in wandering the chocolate galleries.
Stumbling across ‘Mokafe’ we stopped to order a quick lunch.
We ordered a bowl of onion soup, perfect for a cold afternoon. Served hot, bread still crusty sitting in a moorish herby broth and topped with slowly melting cheese. I would go back to Brussels just for this!

Let the waiter find you a table and sit close to other diners whilst you enjoy lunch, a beer or coffee to break up all the chocolate shopping.
Do yourself a favour and save room to sample a yummy piece of cake or dessert from the cafe’s display!
